What is an auth code?
The auth code (also called EPP code or authorization code) is a kind of password for your domain. Only someone who knows it can move the domain to another provider.
- You get it from your current provider, usually in their customer area under Domains.
- It is often 8 to 16 characters long and case-sensitive.
- Your website and email keep running during the move if the DNS records are copied over first. We help with that.
Moving a .de domain is free; the term is not extended by the move.
Add a new domain?
Your plan includes one domain at no extra cost for as long as the plan runs. You can use it in addition to your own domain, for example for a second project.
You can also continue without a new domain and order one later.
